Ms. Bijeta Pattnaik brings over a decade of invaluable experience from KiiT International School to our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Department. As the Deputy Director of Research and coordinator, her involvement with the SEN department has been instrumental in shaping a progressive and inclusive curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of students with special needs. Through her leadership, the school has made significant strides in bridging the gap between mainstream and special education, ensuring every child is supported and celebrated for their unique strengths. Ms. Sukanya Mahakul

Sukanya Mahakul is a certified clinical psychologist with a wealth of experience in both education and research. Throughout her career, she has gained substantial expertise by working with various institutions dedicated to mental health services, where she has been instrumental in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs aimed at helping individuals who are experiencing psychological challenges. Her compassion and leadership abilities make her an invaluable member of our organization.


Akankhya Praharaj

Therapy Supervisor

Ms. Akankhya Praharaj holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in Paediatrics from Maharaja Vinayak Global University, Jaipur, and a foundational degree from the prestigious National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangjan), Kolkata. Her work focuses on helping children overcome sensory processing challenges while enhancing essential life skills such as self-care, play, and emotional regulation. Through her specialized knowledge and empathetic approach, Ms. Praharaj empowers young learners to build independence and reach their full potential.


Team Psychologist

SEN Globe KIIT-IS

At SEN Globe, the team consists of two clinical psychologists and four psychologists who have completed their M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology and Masters in Psychology from renowned institutions. Their primary role involves assessing and observing the developmental progress of children over time. In addition to their assessments, they also provide cognitive and behavioral therapy to help foster the improvement of the child, addressing various psychological and developmental concerns. Their expertise plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being and progress of the children under their care.
